I cannot remember who said it or where I heard it, "When there is only one superpower in the world left it is there duty to mankind, to police the world and get rid of tyrannical leaders that are repressing their people" I cannot remember exactly how it went, but it was something like that. The US military has since the end of the Cold War provided many humanitarian missions, and they still are today. Somalia (which ended in a bad way, we had Aidad on the run and severely limited his arms and ammunition but in typical Democratic fashion because it looked bad they backed out) On a side note I have met CPT Steele the Ranger Company commander for that campaign. He was a full bird Colonel when I met him, really good guy not how the movie portrays him. The US military at the present day is still providing humanitarian missions in Africa, South America, Central America, the Serbian countries (Baltics), and many other locations throughout SW Asia.

I have actually seen a couple peole out and about with Ron Paul signs.. I'd actually like to get one and put it in my front yard.

Ron Paul is the only presidential candidate that is not a member of the Council on Foreign Relations....
The media is shunning him. tries to portray he has no chance by not airing his views. or mentioning him at all, especially Fox.

Ron Paul knows this. He has a definite chance and has my vote.

That's great news! I really hope to see more of him on mainstream tv rather than just the internet, to really get his idea's spread out.

I've watched some of his youtube video's, but something I may have missed and am wondering about is, what is his opinion on stem cell research, basically is he for or against it? That's a big issue to me and if he is not for it it would be the sole reason I wouldn't want him as president....BUT...then again he mentioned in one of his video's that he would not veto if congress apposed his views because he thinks one person should not have that kind of power, which I think is amazing, I really wish there were more people like him in our government.
