Decided to get a new tattoo... Me any my wife got our new tats today.
Mine took a tad over 3 hours, and of course hers were fairly quick.
Quick run down on mine: Two swallows, banner with Irish Family motto-Percussa Resurgo. MEANS "WHEN STRUCK DOWN, I RISE AGAIN"
wife's: chinese knotwork, and characters for her grandfather that passed away.
I intended on getting and still do the knotwork. But I was ready to get out of the shop and eat some food. Plus, the sternum wasn't too forgiving.

Looks great man. I have several tattoos myself: two back pieces, one on each shoulder blade area, spine area kanji tattoos, asian Hanya/Dragon half sleeve, and an Irish shoulder piece. 'm saving to get my one Irish shoulder piece re-colored and expanded.

Yeah, reason was I preferred it on the chest. Something like that wouldn't make much sense to me on the back. And no, that area is free for now. A full back piece will be there eventually. I'm heading overseas in a month, mods are getting underway when I return on the Tahoe. So I figured I might as well get a new piece done since it's been 2+ years since my last one
Thanks for the compliments. It turned out great I think, so far all but two now like it. My mom being the first, go figure.

No problem, I just got the brakes in today. A buddy works for NAPA, so he got me his discount and shipped them to me. I may try tomorrow, if not then Tuesday. I just been busy getting things done while on leave. Bought a overpriced coffe table/dinner table(lift top that seconds as a dinner table) today and had to bring it home. Still need a couch...
