I recognized it instantly as the paint scheme from a P-40 Warhawk. Notice in the closeup he even painted on simulated rivets. Nice touch.

Man, I LOVE those rising sun flag "kill" decals on that thing (just like the WW2 original!!).

I've been trying to find some of those at hobby/model shops, but NO luck.

Plus it takes on added meaning in an F body because those could refer to ricers he killed!

With that paint sceme it kinda makes his fog lights look like 20mm cannons.

We'll have to wait and see today... But there are some serious cars in that drag radial class. Turley went 7.79 @ 181, Kempf went 7.85 @ 181... I'm kicking myself for not making the trip down there... I would love to see these guys race today.
