Yeah I might go that route and keep it under 10k if I can't decide for sure.

So far it looks like the TB is winning the SUV side of things with the GP still up top. I'd love to get a Silverado, but they are harder to find quality one's in the price range. Plus they do get a little less mileage and the back seats would not be as comfortable.

Best SUV I have ever had is my 2001 Expedition eddie bauer. Got it in 2003 with 30K on the clock and in 4 years I have put over 70K miles on it without it missing a beat. Only oil changes and brakes had been put into it. You get get them for real cheap and honestly they arent THAT much worse on gas than either the jeep or the trailblazer. JMO though.

id go with a GP. everyone else has covered why. gas mileage, 4 dr ECT. if you really do offroad alot and winters are bad those are the only reasons id get an SUV.

I have an Eddie Bauer 2002 Explorer w/ 123k miles.
Still has an amazing ride and handling for an SUV.

Gas milage on the other hand...best ive gotten is 17.6mpg.

my aunt has the GC with the 4.7 and even with her grandma driving she bests a 13mpg. good car and all, but i wouldn't bother. a girl i know got a GP w/o the blower as a rental and i absolutely loved it. the interior was phenomenal. i vote GP

ps- if mileage is a concern but you still need an suv, i would have to recommend my vue. at least give it a look. 250hp, 3500#, and 28mpg highway is awesome....
