need some input

hey guys, i have a 99 ws6

i need some input on this setup
i have a g2 lid and LM1 catback, puting hooker LT's on within a week with ory,
im making a sheetmetal CAI like the JAAM one.

my question is i want to buy a typhoon intake, i heard good and bad.
how do you think this setup is?

Just leave the lid on it and don't mess with it.

On my car I did !baffle the hood though and put a bit of weather stripping around the back of it. Kinda like the BG Ram Air.

When I get the typhoon intake I hurd it was a good intake for heads and cam. So I was going to port it

The Typhoon is pretty new. I'd wait for more results, even though I'm sure it's better than a regular LS1 intake. But you have to take into consideration of adding weight and heat soak w/ a metal intake.

For myself I'd still prefer a nice ported fast and a 90mm NW TB.

For you're car I wouldn't even touch an intake like that until you have an engine that needs to breath more. I would consider picking up a used LS6 intake for about $300-$350 though.
