You would probably love it for the first couple of days but in the end it is too loud and the rasp sounds like a$$ when you get your foot in to it. The more power that is added to the car the worse it gets.

What do I know anyways since us older guys supposedly don't like loud pipes.

Got some money, go with the GMMG catback.... Very nice sound. Or you could go get electric dual cutouts and keep the stock catback.... True duals are very nice as well with the bullet mufflers.

There is a SLP D/D in the for sale section for $300 shipped. I say that is the way to go since it flows with the best of them and sounds awsome (and it is all stainless).

I loved the Hooker Cat-back and its around $300. I believe va speed has one on the wall local. If you don't get it I will for my 2nd TA if they still have it. I loved it with stock manifolds and then later with Hooker headers and no cats.

If have vid clips and pics on my site.

I saw it by chance because I don't go in that area much so if you get it you lucked out.

Upon further review I see you have a WS6. Like my SS don't they come with a stainless 3" exhaust already? If so I would actually put a ecutout in the I pipe. It would be more performance and sound when YOU want it and I guarantee no aftermarket catback will outflow it.

Those duals are OK. They go under the axel and I am not a big fan of that.

Kyle, from my reading it looks like the Hooker does sound awesome. A big drawback on it is that it is not stainless. I had an Edelbrock RPM series catback on my full size GMC and it sounded the same but after 4 years (2 in AZ and 2 in VA) I had to replace it (cut it off) due to the pipes rusting. I went with Borla and it sounded good but not like the Edelbrock. Whether or not a car is being used as a daily driver could be a factor but I would go stainless all the way. Install it and forget about it. My 2 cents.

Have you called and talked to Mike about ordering them and making an appt to get them installed? If you have somewhere to do it, I dont have a problem coming over and lending a hand. A few hrs tops.... Atleast thats what it took to do mine.
