Default LTX shootout convoy??

Alright it's a little early but lets try to organize this a little.

Looks like the easiest way from the East is to hit Rt80 to Rt76 to Rt71 to Rt70. Total Est. Time: 13 hours, 2 minutes Total Est. Distance: 837.85 miles from around the OH/PA border.
More detailed instructions at mapquest...
http://www.mapquest.com/directions/m...&2s=mo&2z=&r=f

I was thinking everyone could meet up at Summit in Tallmadge, it is right off Rt76. You just take the Exit 29 MOGADORE / TALLMADGE and it's right there on the right. If you need to mapquest it Summits address is 1200 Southeast Ave
Tallmadge, Ohio 44278

Now here's what we need to decide, when should we leave? Do we want to make it in time for test n tune thursday and to hang out thursday night, get there late thursday night, or do we want to get there friday morning? I'd like to get there in time for thursday night. I wouldn't mind leaving wed night around like 6pm and driving through the night and getting some sleep when we arrive then hanging out thursday night. But I know that might not work for a lot of people and I'd rather have a big fun convoy then just 2 or 3 cars just because no one wanted to leave then.

Guess we can make a list of who's going to. PM me if you want on it!

1.)Tyler Titus (tylert14)
2.)Dan Ferguson (fergymoto) 'If he gets his car done... prob ride with me if not'
3.)
4.)
5.)
6.)
7.)
8.)
9.)
10.)

Fran, they are talking about starting 5-6 hours from here, in Ohio...

From here it is about 1,111 mi – about 17 hours 43 mins, according to google maps...

So are you heading out to this even too?

actually for those of us down in the philly/delaware area it is quicker to stay south of pittsburgh and take I-76 to I-70 and straight acrossed from there...

No real reason of going a few hours north to meet up with people just to come back south to get on the same road you drove past to meet up with them 2 hours prior...

I just bought one today, and strangely enough it was about 2 miles from the summit store mentioned in this post, so after that trip up there I may agree to the convoy depending on when you guys decide to go, since that summit was cool to visit today and was only about 6 3/4 hours away from me with the trailer...

here are the pics from when I got back home tonight.

Tony, If I told you what I paid you would hate me...

You always want more, you will find that out one of these days...

Actually there are quite a few things I want to do beofre teh shootout, but probably won't have the money for. Things like:
better rear gears,
fiberglass hood,
rear suspension,
lightweight k-member,
!abs stuff,
manual brake master cyl.,
manual rack,
torque arm,
tires,
lightweight carpet,
lightweight seats,
make an aluminum console to cover my shifter since I will be removing my console when I do the lightweight carpet.

That is just the quick list off the top of my head, and I don't really have the money for any of them, the trailer was a good deal that I didn't realy have to pay for because of a trade, I got lucky there...
