Just about done with the GTO... I have thought long and hard about doing more mods to the GTO but I dont think I'm going to do it.
I have done this so far:
Pacesetters,HF cats,X-pipe,Axleback,160 Stat,Plugs,Cai,Verter,Shift kit,Derale pan,Pulley,Slowhawk tuning.
I think I am going to add the factory gauges to the dash.
I think thats it
I am not getting nuts with the car,I was looking at cams,blowers and realized I dont go to the track as much as I used to and I like going to car shows now.
The GTO has been a great car and it rides so nice..I would like to see a low low 12 out of her which I dont think will be hard now that I have the verter in along with alittle more engine tuning from Don.
Call me an old fogee but I just dont see the logic in spending $$$$$$ just to get kicked out of Atco.I dont want a loud noisy car as I sold the WS6 for that very reason.

3200 stall,its small...I might be buying another car down the road and its really nice 70 Chevelle SS 396 but it will sit in my garage and my GTO will go outside.

Nice man goodluck with her, sounds like your already having a lot of fun already with the light mods you have. I'm in the same boat psychologically. I spent so much on my old dsm trying to go all out, got too carried away, I don't want it to happen with this car, it's so tempting, but it's so much money that could be better used elsewhere, and there's always someone faster.

I dont wanna ruin it with a big cam,loud exhaust or bigs and littles.
I had 2 nitrous cars,NITROUS BLOWS....
Must not let the supercharger bug get me,must stop listening to my head,must take meds,must practice patience,must not act impulsively
The right thing to do is put about 10K into my house and then sell it...

Just keep doing a little modding at a time, like you have been.
When the car becomes a solid 11.5 car, then you stop.
I only say this because you say you don't want to go too far?
The N2O wasn't a bad idea either, but I guess you don't like it?
Either way, enjoy the car and don't go broke trying to build something crazy.
