Ill be there agian. We need to have a BIG meet this year. The mustang guys had a damn nice one on like 90th and then all went for a cruise. It was awesome. The roads down there are awesome now. They had finished them up prolly 2 weeks after the cruise. I couldnt believe they left them torn up for it tho. I enjoy the cruisers weekend just wish the cops would bring it down just a notch or two. They pulled mean94lt1 over for a blue licence plate light

 

maybe he did something else to get their attention and they were nice enough to let him slide and got him for the little blue light instead.
i've never been pulled over down there...but i dont do anything to grab their attention either so that may be a reason why. compared to Wildwood police at their cruise, its a picnic going to Ocean city.

 

I'll be there, already paid for my hotel in advance. If anyone sees a bright orange WS6, thats me.

 

Got my condo and I'm ready!! I have the teal 96 Z28 with the NC #24 BADZ tag!! I had a good time last year. But, Why are the cop's so bad there? They were all over the place. But I did get one BADASS BURN-OUT IN before I left!!!!

 

You should see the cops now. I have to drive in Ocean City every night and both Friday and Saturday I saw three different cars pulled over between 1st street and 67th at the Holiday Inn. Even tonite(Sunday Night) I saw one car pulled over and there is hardly anybody in town. Lets just say I always drive the speed limit here.

 

I'll be back down again with the York crew although I gotta find a trailer to cart the SS down with. TH400 + 4.10s doesn't make for a nice highway drive.

Yeah, I think we were talking about cruising up to get some dinner somewhere...like one of those all you can eat places...The Bonfire is always good, or where ever...We have some time to figure it all out...

This past spring was the first time I've ever been to the Ocean City car event. It was ok, I might go again, just gotta find out who all is going this year. I'll probably just ride down with someone again instead of taking my car down.I have a big problem with not parking it inside at a garage at night(I'm very fanatical about the car) I just liked seeing everyone else cruise around and get pulled over. I'm sure if I drove my car there I would have came back with a couple tickets with all them damn cops around. I didn't actually get to see the actual car show. The crowd I was with never even went down to the board walk. I think that's where the main show is right?

 

Sure do. I think it will be fun if we can get everyone to come and stick around for awhile also. Get a few pictures and cruise. How much better could it get.

I am a sissy pants aren't I. How fun can it really be to cruise down there though. Cops on every corner, you can't do any burnouts or throw it sideways without getting caught. We got pulled over in Aarons Nova for chirping the tires and it wasn't even us. It was the guy 2 cars ahead. I don't think Jay is even planning on taking his Camaro down this year or Dan and the Monte Carlo.

 

Everyone in pa is a party popper. Noone can ever just cruise around in a group. Would anyone wanna take a 45 min ride to the chassis dyno? $40 for 3 pulls.

 

Now if I would happen to do anything to the motor this year I would take it just to go on the dyno for that price. But too bad I'm done modding the motor. I'll have to see if Aaron wants to go on the dyno now that he has that other carb on now. I think he's planning on taking the Nova down again. Is Cory taking his camaro down again?

Just stick close to me...I'll give out some of my cards to my extended family......and before you start bashing, I think those OC cops are a bit overzealous to say the least...I messed with one last year by standing in front of his laser and asking him about that "newfangled space gun" he was holding while wearing my "Its all fun and games until the cops show up" shirt...

I'm not saying that we should drive like ********, but I don't see anything wrong with a few quick romps...
