As tears of sorrow filled my eyes...I reached the decision to let go of my beautiful 01 SOM WS6. Even though "RAY" (yes I named him) brought such joy to my life, he was getting up there in mileage and it was time for him to go. I will always have wonderful memories of him...he will never be forgotten. He replaced with a silver Trailblazer SS. We picked her up tonight and my boyfriend said I will grow to love her the same....plus she can tow
I must say I am very impressed with this vehicle. Here's one pic...it was dark by the time we got her home...I'll post more tomorrow

Like the name. My wife keeps giving me a hard time. I name my car Joey! And he is part of the family. Even grandma calls him Joey.
Good luck on the purchase of the new car. Im sure Ray will go to a great home.

So sorry for your lost. The LS1 Trans Am was a special car as it will probably be the last Trans Am (but probably not the last Firebird) that GM will ever produce. You're definitely not going to get the same looks (and the same fuel economy) in your Trail Blazer SS, but you'll probably still have fun. Good luck.

Congrats Mary. It was hard to believe when you called last night and said you were on the way to the dealership. I'm sure you'll never forget that car considering what it took to get it in the first place. You said goodbye to an old friend and hello to a new one. Best of luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only 89,000 miles on the TA? That motor was still a youngster! You had a minimum of 100000 left. You did get a good trade amount though but your car was really nice and with a rare color.

Did you trade in the WS6?
