both handsome cars i think, but between the expected higher price for the dodge and the predicted better performance(straight line and twisties) for the camaro, i am going to have to side with the chevy.
if i was a family man or had some need to make an excuse about my fun daily driver being more practical, i would be all over the chalenger. since i lack those excuses, i lack the desire to spend a few thou more on less of the performance i love.
maybe i shoudl play the lotto, then i can jsut buy both

i liked the look of the challener in the above pictures, untill I seen it fom the back. YUCK. Looks nice from the front angle, but once hte back same around, it just doesnt look right to me. Camaro all the way, i really like the look of the new camaro.

I don't like the white on the camaro.. In a differnt color I'm shure it will rock.. The Challenger rocks in those picks but if they made it cheaper looking it probably sucks now..

That's a cool comparison, but just for the record, and you can check out the 2010 camaro forum to confirm it, that pic of the camaro is no where near the finished product they say. It won't have those headlights for instance, they just put them there to have something there holding it's place.

Bottom line is, I dig both cars (and the Mustang V8s as well) and am just happy to see a return of the old muscle car/pony car wars.

I like the looks of both cars from the front. I don't really car for the rear end of the camaro, but who knows how it will turn out in production. I also agree with most of you guys about the rear of the challenger, in just doesn't look right.
Being I'm a mopar guy, I would have to choose the challenger.

I think they both look like **** and I wouldn't buy either one. How can GM even remotely think that the new body style looks good when sitting next to a 4th gen? I think GM's engineers have been smoking rocks on their lunch breaks

It hasn't hit the streets yet, and with an expected $3.50/gal this summer, how long will it last? I say it flops. Funny though, Ford went retro, and sold millions, the other two follow, and will have a tough time keeping up due to the economy and price of gas.

God, I hope they both look better in real life because I personally think those are two very unattractive cars. I don't think either one is something I would even think about buying looks-wise, but of course they always look different in pictures than in real life, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.
That said, if I had to pick between those two, I'd have to go with the Camaro, paint it a not hideous color, and hope it comes out alright.
