The giants played their best against the patriots last time they met. the patriots toyed with them and won anyway. now with the big prize on the line the pats will bring their A game. 42 - 17 pats win. Eli will struggle most young qbs do in their first super bowl.

Pats have a great team. Probably the best in history. I think the G-men have a chance. I think most of the football world counted them out in Dallas. I heard a lot of talk about Eli choking in bad/cold weather.
To have a chance, you got to at least, make it to the big game. Well, they are there. We shall see

As a life long Giants fan, I admit that it's going to be tough to beat the Patriots. Just like the saying goes, Offense wins games, defense wins championships and I think the Giants have the better defense going into the game.

I just heard at lunch that Tom Brady has been spotted with a cast on his foot, so who knows what that's about.

QUOTE: Ah, you know, there's always bumps and bruises. I'll be ready for the Super Bowl," Brady said Monday during his weekly radio appearance on WEEI - before the photo and video emerged - when asked if his leg was injured. "I'm not worried about that. I'm not missing this one. I'd have to be on a stretcher to miss this one. There will be treatment this week. In games like this, you get a little nicked up. It's nothing serious."

So who knows what that means. Eli is playing better, making fewer mistakes than normal, so that at least gives his team a chance to win.

My prediction, 24-27 Patriots winning.

Patriots have the better offense and defense during the regular season:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/statis...on=2&year=2007

During the playoffs (with the Giants playing one extra game) have an edge in defensive yards allowed while the Pats gave up less points a game

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/statis...on=3&year=2007

It will come down to whether the Patriots make enough mistakes for the Giants to have a chance. If Brady throws 3 picks against the Giants... Pats will be in trouble.

Eli is playing great for him... no question. The key is nobody is getting any pressure on him.

Brady will throw 375+ yards in the superbowl... 4 TDs. It was extremely cold + windy hence the interceptions for Brady against the chargers.

I don't think the game will be a cake walk.... Giants will keep the game tight in the 1st half... then the Pats will break it open in the 2nd half. Despite the Pats history of 3 point wins in the superbowl, I predict something like 38 to 21 Pats win 4th in 7 years. Thats just my prediction.

Got a call from my dad about 2 hrs ago... we got 6 tickets to big game... see you guys in Arizona!

Boss - Pats fan
Shipping Manager - Giants fan

Just saw my boss and shipping manager make a bet (each for their team) that whoever loses has to go out and buy the Superbowl Champs shirt for the other team and wear it at work for a week. I was the witness and will be quite happy either way, although I absolutely do NOT want the Pats to win. I'm indifferent about the Giants, but if it means stopping the Pats one game short of a perfect season, I'm in.

Its funny, you know a team is elite when fans hate them just because they dont want to see them win again They are like the Yankees, like the steelers of the 70's, like the cowboys of the early 90's in regards to be hated.

eli was in colder weather and till played alot better than brady idk i dont think e will pass for 4tds and 375 yds at all. i dont think the pats are going to be able to stop the running game of brandon jacobs or amound bradsaw i think togather they will rush for 170 yarrds with 3tds and i think eli will pass 2 to plaxico idk i think giants are playin better than thhe pats lately everyone is performing eli, plaxico, jacobs, bradshaw, smith, and the defence, strahan, osi, webster, tuck, idk LETS GO GIANTS

Heres something for you pats fans to think about. I remember a few years ago when they went to the superbowl and faced the rams(the greatest show on turf). They were 2 touchdown underdogs and given absolutely no chance to win. We all know who won that game and it was the start of the patrots dynasty. It just goes to show that anything can happen on any given day.

your correct and that is why i think the pats win, Brady wont have another 3 int game, the giants D is not as talented in the secondary as San Diego. Eli is playing well but he will come back to reality when the Pats line up Super Sunday. im not a pats fan im actually a Broncos fan. we won our super bowl against the packers when we were 14 pt underdogs. yes the giants can do it, i just dont think they will.

Anything can happen for sure... but there is one major difference you arent mentioning. The Pats #4 (or #5) defensive ranking in the NFL this year and #1 in offense. The Rams were # 1 in offense, but there defense stunk. also, the Pats secondary dominated the Rams... the Giants dont have a great secondary.

The key for the giants is Plexico vs Hobbs in the secondary. Plexico got the best of Hobbs in the first meeting... hence the great day Manning had (with all day to throw).

Anything can happen... I just dont think the Giants will have enough bullets to take care of business.

Been there and done that already this year. Not worried about the running game at all.

i think giants are playin better than thhe pats lately
Nobody is playing better than the Pats lately... sorry, but 18-0 tells me the Pats are playing better than everyone at anytime this year... even now (depsite what people may think are mediocre performances for the Pats). Even when Brady has an off game, the team is so good that the game was still won.

everyone is performing eli, plaxico, jacobs, bradshaw, smith, and the defence, strahan, osi, webster, tuck, idk LETS GO GIANTS
Yes, they are all playing great.

Brady wearing some kind of foot cast sounds like Belicheck B.S. That's been tried before (Ask TO) Brady is probably due for a good game. NE's defense held the Chargers when they needed to inside the red zone. I think the G-men's secondary is playing great. They leave the middle of the field open too much, but they have been picking off the ball at very important moments. I think the Giants have a good shot at the upset. I am a Giant fan so maybe I'm a lttle biased.

I could actually see him limping on the field in the 4th quarter against SD. I think he is just being overly cautious by wearing the air cast for a few days... nothing to do with the coach IMO.

Ever wear an air cast? They are very comfortable!

the superbowl should def be a good game, look at the last time they played each other, one of the best games i have seen in a while, i do feel bad for brett though, especially the way he went out, throwing an interception
