Is the line still 13 1/2? I thought the air cast might be a ploy to lower the line. I would expect Brady to play regardless of any injury.

I'm going to guess it'll be a close game but the patriots win. My guess is the offensive play calling will be much different this game than it was against the giants at the end of the regular season. I was disappointed at the end of the patriot's regular season with the offensive play calling. I had the impression the team got a little fixated on throwing the ball deep while trying to get Brady and Moss thier records. A few of the deep throws seemed to be forced rather than being willing to take what the other team was willing to give them.

Where as in the playoffs the team has been willing to take what another team is willing to give up. Jacksonville would be a good example where they decided to take moss away and the deep ball threat away so the team was content to run and throw check down passes. The chargers again took moss away and the running game and dump passes to Faulk were available.

I'm not saying a team shouldn't try to take Moss out of the N.E. game plan but in doing so often other players or spots in the zone are left open.

Take it easy

it's going to be a good game I think...close.

I dunno, both teams have a big star receiver (plexico and moss). Both teams have good defense. It will be key to see who gets to the QB on defense, and who establishes the run on offense.

I predict the G-men by a field goal.

I agree. Close game. If the Giants D line can get to Brady with just the front 4 it will be a long game for him.
If not, he'll probably light up the scoreboard.

It just goes to show that anything can happen on any given day.
That should have never happened. The Rams were absolutely amazing that season. It was like they just gave up in the second half and no one knows why.

On the contrary, they were punched in the mouth in the first half. They scored twice in the 4th quarter to tie the game... the second half was there better half. Goes to show you, 99% of the time you need balance to win a superbowl... Rams had a mediocre defense at best.

The Pats did not toy with anyone this season. You really think their coach said "hey, lets keep this close and have fun"? Belicheck comes to destroy his opposition every game. I can't believe you can "toy" with any team.
If they toyed with the Giants, what did the Pats do against the Ravens, Colts, or Philly? Those were very close games. Some would say the Ravens has some calls that didn't go their way, but what can you do?

regardless of what your rose colored glasses saw. the giants came out to play that night they gave their best shot. the pats didnt play as well as they could have, and when they were down by 12 they just shifted gears put up 17 points and won the game. to me thats toying with a team. scoring at will when they needed to. the giants could shock the world, but i have a feeling the pats will be playing for keeps the entire game. they easily could set the record for most points scored by a team in the super bowl. sorry you dont want to hear that but reality sometimes sucks

I was there... and there was no toying at all. Pats played lousy... but they made some adjustments that ended up resulting in points. Giants made ZERO adjustments and got a **** ton of unanswered points put up on them.

No toying... no such thing in the NFL. Pats started clicking on all cylinders and pulled away (depsite what a 3 point score showed).

I think if the Giants played the best game they have in years the Pats would be them playing at 80%.

Theres only one way to find out, with good weather and the way the Pats have played all year.......odds are in their favor and if you argue that then your dense. Sure the Giants have a chance and it's not a sealed deal but the odds are in the favor of the Pats.

I would agree with the Pats making the necessary adjustments and the Giants not adjusting at all. That was the whole difference in the game. That accounts for the 17 points. Pats are a premire team without a doubt...but Go Giants

Every snap is an opportunity to make or break the game. The Pats made the best of it. The Giants could of, but didn't. The game should be good. I'm excited about the week 17 re-match.

I don't think the outdoor temp will matter, Eli is going to be in hot water. The pats have played pretty crumby and still dominated teams of late
