tie goes to the higher trap speed so your in. dont get too comfortable though..by the end of the summer bump will be like 10.30's off the top dog list.

Oh I know that. My brother has already knocked me off anyways, he's just too lazy to post up and doesn't visit this section much, so I'll leave my name on there for now until someone else knocks me off.

10.03 @ 134 today, after putting the car on the buper the run before.

402, 01 transam, 100 shot.

Needless to say, a set of travel limiters will be on the car before it gets run again.

150

All the changes over the winter has the suspension rather unhappy. 2 weeks ago it 60 foot's a 1.35 on a 1/2 track nhra lic. pass with the 100 jet in the car, I put the 150 to it and it goes on the bumper.

This week I put the 150 to it and now it won't 60 foot better then a 1.42, but dosn't lift the tire more then about 2 inches. They settled the car down too much. Safe, but too much.

I need a rental day and just make 330 hits until I have it leaving like it should. removing 150 lbs off the nose and adding 75 to the trunk disturbed things a little bit. I know the tuneup is a little fat and there's probably 2 degrees more timing it will take safely I'm sure, but until I have the chassis back to where it needs to be there's no real point of trying to light the wick.

I think 2 more trips, or a rental day will have it squared away. I am 100% sure there is a solid .1+ in the 60 foot that should equate to a good .2 just from getting the car back to leaving right.

The lic. runs are done, I'm gonna get that in the mail tomorrow and then I have a little while to wait until I get that anyway.

I will probably have the laptop and tuning software before the end of the season, I will make an attempt at that once I know everything is working as it should be again.


Goal was 9.5 in the heat, last year I started at 11.0, goal was 10.5 and it got there, this year I'm starting alot closer to the goal, it will get there. I'd like to try to do it without going past a 150 hit, I think it's possible.

i went 1.40 60 on a 150 hit but my converter is built for a large shot as so the rest of the car. i was low bottle presure also 850 psi in some good air i dont see it going any beter then 1.37 with the converter being so tight.

JL, your car has atleast a 10th in it and 1-2 mph just in the timming, 2 step and tweek the suspention there is another 10th. get the tune up perfect, and there is another 10th

that car has it in it, just takes a little time. get her to the track and you will watch the time drop

As soon as the lic gets here I will make another trip, probably one more before pinks allout, which should be fun (hot, but fun)

Paperwork is going in the mail today for that, so I have a couple weeks, but time to make some changes, get bottles refilled, etc.etc.
