Ford def did great with the Lightning.lets take a stock motor, put on a supercharger and watch everybody kick the rods out-then not cover it under warranty-what a great truck.

there are some difference between L motor and the regular 5.4. and you throw a rod until you around 475hp. the L only real motor problem was the auto ejecting spark plugs on the early truck with the 4 thread head.

One of my cust's TBSS is running low/mid 12s N/A with a stall, mail order tune and LT's I thought that was pretty quick for a 2+ ton suv w/ a couple of bolt ons. He's got a 2006 Z06 but has more fun driving the Trailblazer.

I said he has more fun, not that it's faster. Don't get me wrong the Z06 is Bad *** but he enjoys the look on peoples faces who try to take him at the stop lights![Secret2](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/secret.gif)
Everybody knows a Z06 is quick c5 or c6.

I know, notice I gave a nod to a C5 Z06 hmm.......... The guy with the TBSS is no stranger to Vetts, He bought one (not C6ZO6) from us and had it shipped from GM to Callaway for the TT upfit. since then he's done work to the heads, turbos and AT. Now it is at a Shop in NC getting meth inj. and tune...should be sweet when he gets it back.
