tony definately felt the effects, even if he was physically fine for the most part. several of the interviews i have seen with him after he made it back to the track he was leaning on things or sitting down, far from his normal style.
it was a good, if unplanned, way to shine light on modern safety equipment and how far things have come in the last several years. carbonX, breather systems, HANS device, and the new chassis have changed the game.
can't imagine how big that boomer would have been on the full 90% hit, 85 looked like it hurt plenty. a little heavier and a chunk more power. this is going to be a fun season to watch.
