Quick Time 8...? No rules, no limits just straight up pro tree LSX racing?

yup, 95 db, thats pretty much the only rule ya need to abide by.

I am going to build an exhaust out of some spintech mufflers with 2.5x4 inch oval piping, that will tuck up real good, and should be quiet. The 2.5x4 inch oval piping is equeal to 3.5 inch piping, so there should be little to no restriction with that, and should meet the sound reqirments with no problems, the mufflers keep some circle track stuff in california below 95db, so if it works for them, it should be fine. I will dyno with the system on,a nd with it off the car so if there's a restriction I will know about it.

Providing there's no substantial power loss, it will probably stay on the car forever, just so I don't have to deal with taking it on and off.

Only rules are EFI required and mufflers required(90 db limit). As time goes on i might put more rules in place as the cars get faster to keep them even.

weight restrictions would probably be the easiest to do for that. Tire size limitations, or a structured weight vs power adder vs cubic inch rule also comes to mind, structure that right and the racing will probably be real close. Just don't do what they did for the drag radial class at the lsx shootout, unless all you want is turbo cars to show up.

wonder how quiet my car will be with the turbo and 4" bullet muffler (will it make the 95dB limit?)

car won't be done for first event,
cecil streetcar shootout is same day as 2nd event,

maybe I can make the 3rd
hope to be running high 7s by then

Those sound requirments, if Barry's way of checking is how they do it are not gonna be easy to get to I have a feeling.

I'm even reconsidering the oval exhaust simply because if I have to go to a different muffler, it will be easier to change it with round piping.

Counts me out then if they don't recognize the turbo as the primary muffling device

then again the spoolup of a big turbo might exceed 90dB

oh well
