Default Slowhawk fixed the carnage

Well after another highly successful track season LOL. Don, Slowhawk on this board went to work. Thanks Don, as usual you got it up and running in record time. Lets see, tourque tube replaced, a yearly thing. This year he replaced it with a stronger one for all you vette owners. He can come in anytime with the technical details but this one supposed to be bullet proof. The spec twin disc was sent back for freshening and damn the thing drives stock. The rear end was repaired something about splines. Who knows I just break it , he fixes it. Hey when i think about it how the hell did I go 10.8 in the Qt. at the end of the season. He also upgraded the PCM to a 02 and put a blowoff valve on. Springs replaced. Thanks again Don, car is riding great thanks to you.

Sounds like an overall tuneup. I really wish we thought of it and I gave Keith my PCM out of the 2002 Z28. Did the PCM help driveability or did he do it for future tuning?

How come every time Brent posts the word "carnage" is always a part of it

Awesome news, It's a give take relationship with you guys. Don gives you something better every time, and you take it back when it breaks.

Seriously sounds like you will have a hard time atleast breaking the TQ tube this time. I'm sure the car drives awesome once again.

can't wait to hear about next season's carnage and lower 60's Imagine what Brent would do if he had to re-wire the pcm himself

Joe, it's for driveability now. No more surging at low speeds low RPM's. I would have hated to be there that day watching Don wiring it up. Danno, found it in the Thesaurus... great word for like Marcel said what am I going to break next. Boosted I think you saw another red vette not mine. Out with one in with another. Cant wait for April 1st.

Your welcome Brent (destroyer of all Corvette parts)

We did the solid torque tube, rebuilt SPEC dual clutch(old one was good),Rebuilt rear posi(plates shattered),added blow off valve and rewired/tuned the car with the 02 computer setup.
The computer was done to open up the tuning some more. The geberic 2bar SD tune on the 1997 computer worked but the 02 setup has alot more options which help drivability.

Hopefully the Brent master won't break anything this year

Was it your Vette that sounded AWESOME at Lebanon Valley, launched and went about 1 foot due to a destroyed rear??

Nope Mr. B that wasnt me. I race at NED. Remember once I broke the tranny at 140 or so coasted off the track. Then waited for the tow truck. Usually, I can get off the track.
Hey, RI Red, whats wrong with 1.6's.

Unless I'm wrong Mr. B, the Vette that went a foot and broke was Marcel's.

Two things to count on every new year...Brent will go faster and he'll break something. As weird as it seems, the first doesnt lead to the latter.

And it's a 10.2. Somehow I think you shift faster.
