2008 Dragstrip predictions, lets here'em
#21
Hopefully high 10's at least with the new drag radials on the C6, maybe a trophy or two , no breakage of parts, and then retire her for awhile. She's had a hard first two years of life...100+ drag strip passes, 170mph+ hwy runs, possibly 200+ burnouts....you get the picture.

Already been to the track last weekend & was quicker than I thought it would be at 10.13/132 on a 1.42 60. Best last year was 10.37/129. Got the improvement thru weight reduction & batt relocate. Gonna go to a quicker track in a week or 2 & launch real hard off the t-brake, see if it'll do a 1.39 60 & 10.0x. In any event, good luck to all this year

Best last year was 12.01 @114.with a p.o.s trans. New stuff this year 3.42s 4k stall, 3rd new tranny from performabuilt ( maybe they got it right this time but not holding breath), UD pulley, prostar skinnies 10.5 Et streets, and a line lock to heat both tires for a change. Hoping for consistent 11.60s.

I myself have made only 6 passes ever and the best being a 13.1@106.xxx with a 1.97 60ft on a lowered car with no LCA relocation brackets on used up all seasons. The car only had a cold air and a catback then. Now I have SFCs PHB LCAw/brackets typhoon intake and tb 85maf and fresh tires with headers in the works. I hope I can be maybe mid 12s.
