anyone have a valve spring compressor? I'm soon going to be installing my 1.6 rockers and lt4 springs on my LT1, and I'm just seeing if anyone has a valve spring compressor that I would be able to borrow for the install. It will save me from spending $100 on that crane tool that I would probably use once. Thanks guys. I'm located in MA 20 minutes north of Boston.

I was in the same position you were in, didnt want to spend the money on the Crane tool, but I bought it anyways, after i was done with the swap, I put it forsale for like $85 on the boards ls1tech and camaroz28.com and had tons of replies and sold it very quickly...I lost like 20$ on it, but its a worthwhile tool, trust me

I have one, if your a friend of tony you can borrow it, but i need it back asap. i have a cam swap to do in the next couple weeks.
however when you come to get it bring knee pads. lol

hes a good kid, few years older then me... we met over on cz28 like 2 years ago when we were both starting off.... we've been mod battling ever since....and helping eachother every chance we get.... and trust me brad he can suck the chrome off a ball on a trailor hitch

o btw im commin home this weekend. u mind if i come down to grab that driveshaft either fri or sat? dont worry i will bring presents....

Awesome thanks. I'll have to figure out a time when I can do the install first, so I will let you know sometime. I wont be able to do it this weekend, so maybe I'll just wait till after you do your cam so that way I'm not holding you up with anything. I'm also pretty close to you in Reading.
