Well last year they only ran the 8.50 and 9.50 then towards the end of the season they added the 10.50. Now this year they added the 11.50. Sooner or later It will be big enough to have to run a full day event

It grew like crazy last year, the 9.50 class started out with only 7-8 cars and by the end of the season there were 15+ showing up. It really took off when they added the 10.50 class. I can only imagine with the 11.50 class this year it's going to be huge.

I bet if your car will run a consistant 11.5x, you can go rounds as long as you're good on the tree.

Get good on the tree, and I bet in any of the classes, as long as you can run a x.5x consistantly and cut good lights you can go a round or 2, hell probably have a fair shot at winning.

Nothing a small nitrous kit won't solve, as long as you have all the safety stuff, I'd put a kit on it with a good tire and see what it gets you, probably get alot closer to 11.5 then you think.

But, if the car won't run 11.5x, I don't think you will stand a chance. Now with a 12.5 index, you're almost there, wouldn't take too much to knock a couple tenth's off, and at that speed it's pretty safe to say traction won't be an issue with a decent tire, so consistancey should be relativly easy as well.

Last year the 9.5 class was won once by a guy running way off the number. A bunch of breaks, some break outs and a couple red lights... he made it all the way.

the 9.5 class last year and the year befor was 99% of the time a 9.5x vs 9.5x car.

we won a couple and lost a couple just on the tree. that class was a hard one to win

I don't expect it to be easy. I'm gonna have to really work on my lights, and get the car to really be consistant, it's been consistant for the most part, but needs to be a touch better.

I don't expect to win anything, if I make it past the first round 1/2 the time I go I'll feel really good to be honest. I'm way to new at actual racing to expect that.

You have to pay $20 to get into the track as always and then it's $50 to enter into the class.

They charge people that are going to race to enter the track? That doesn't seem quite right.....

Yup... Everyone pays at the gate. Then it's $50 at the Outlaw racing corp table for the class.

Jesus, that's a ******* right there. I mean it is what it is, but that seems kinda lame, what did you pay the 20 bucks at the gate for if you're gonna turn around and pay another 50 to sign up? Seems a little senseless, it's like they're whacking you for test and tune, even though that's not what you're there for

its not a rip off, its your buy in to race, it is the winning money. the 20 bucks goes to the track to get in and race, the 50 buys you into the money race.
to good part about outlaw class is your going to get 3 passes no matter what. then you can run test and tune if you get bumped

That makes a little more sense, if the 50 bucks goes into the pot that you're racing towards, then that's cool.

Someone's gonna be taking my 50 dollar bills all season, as long as I learn something, it will be worth it.
