That would be what I would want. RPMs kills these trannies.
These '02s have LOW powerbands, this thing makes peak power around 5400 and by 5700 or so its decreasing already pretty steeply.
Now with the headers etc the powerband feels like it moved up a few hundred RPMs but its still a torquer and not a high revver. Me likes that.
I'll look into that cam down the line JS, you have always been spot on with any advice you've given me so that would be the direction I go if I opt for a cam....

Yes. Plus my interests have changed a bit. I have no desire to run crazy fast ETs or 130 MPH trap speeds. I just want a car I can hop in and drive to/from work. Its nice to be able to get in this thing after a long day of work and roll the windows down, enjoy the sound/feel of a V8, and cruise home.
