We headed up to LVD last night with my ws6 an 01 SS, 03 sonic blue cobra and 67 mustang. It was the first time out with the new setup and also the first time to the track in over 2 years, first run was 12.7@112 missed 2nd and short shifted, 2nd run 12.0@115 1.72 60' off the limiter in 1st, 3rd run spun hard and kicked sideways 12.10@116 1.84 60'..I still need some work on the launch, hopefully we'll be heading to NED shortly, as for the cobra it was his frist time out with the car, on stock 17" wheels he went 11.2@127 and 11.4 and got the boot

 

GOOD RUNS! I POPED OUT A 10.73 without the NOS!!!! Next up Wed 5/21!!!

nice! congrats.. get a good launch out of the thing and row some gears well you'll be far into the 11's. Any expectations?

 

thanks...i guessed 12.0 for first time out, if I man up and start shifting like I should i'm guessing 11.7-11.8 at lvd but hopefully I can get to NEd or Atco

 

if you go to ned make sure its a rental or test and tune otherwise you probably are just going to spin again. A wed night righter after a rental is okay.

Not too bad for the first tirp, sounds right on par with what you thought it would have when you were up @ my place.

A little more pratice and a tweak here and there, and you'll be looking for a rollbar
