Couple killed in central Mass. crash identified
WEST BOYLSTON, Mass. -- State police have identified the Princeton couple killed in a highway crash in central Massachusetts.
Authorities said 39-year-old Todd Marsh was driving the Dodge Viper that went out of control Sunday night on Rt. 190 in West Boylston. The vehicle struck a jersey barrier, then careened across the roadway and slammed into a guardrail.
Marsh and his wife, 40-year-old Michelle Marsh, were pronounced dead at the scene.
In a statement, police said the car was following another vehicle at the time of the crash. They are asking anyone who might know who was driving the other vehicle to contact the state police.
The MetroWest Daily News reports that the couple was the parents of three children and that Todd Marsh owned a construction firm in Princeton.

My prayers go out to their kids and family. We all make mistakes and any of those mistakes can cause a life. Hopefully they were having a good time at the time they passed away. Very tragic ending...Atleast no one else was hurt in the accident. My opinion about this if it was street racing or excessive speed. When you have children, you live for them. It's the parents responsbility not to do life endangering stuff purposely, when it's not just their lives they are affecting. Never mind anybody else on the road.
I love racing, but the street is not the place.

I'd not realized 190 had gotten that bad. When I was in high school in the early 90's the 190 I remember was smooth as silk and almost always empty and I'd driven on it at high speeds in my teens. So I could see how someone in there late 30's could forget it's not the same road etc...
I've not felt the urge to see how fast my T/A will go but up until reading this 190 would have been the local road of choice if I'd wanted to find out.
Take it easy

State Police believe the second vehicle involved in a fatal crash on Interstate 190 last weekend was a 2002 or 2003 silver Subaru Impreza WRX or a similar vehicle, and they are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver. ...
State Police believed the Viper was following the WRX. State Police are asking anyone with information about the driver of the WRX to call the state police barracks at Holden at (508) 829-4431. The WRX was a wagon or hatchback, Trooper Benson said.
