I don't think you have to do that, just to change the registration. If he is goin to take her name off the car then yes but just to add his name i dont think so.
If there is a lien on the vehicle, then the person who is on the loan is the person who is the registered owner of the vehicle. You can't just register a vehicle in someone else's name if you have a lien out against it.
That's the problem we ran into when I got the Jeep. I wanted it registered in Andras name, but the interest rate would've went up if she was on the loan, so the loan is in my name and so is the registration because she couldn't be added to the registration without being added on the loan papers.

Its al good.... Ashley fixed quite a bit of it and we didint have to pay almost anything on the Durango in Taxes this YR.
I fly home tomorrow.
