Hampton Roads...Another New One..
How many GTO guys up here go to Virginia Speed? Trying to find a new shop to go to since HP Factory shut down. I know ED is over there tuning now but just wondering if any GTOs have had any work done there. Anyone know of a good automatic rebuilder. Thinking of upping the boost and I know the tranny will probably go soon after that. Pushing 520rwhp right now and 460rwtq at 7.5psi so going to 10psi should put me around 580rwhp or so. Anyone going to the track this weekend? If not raining I will be heading up that way to see what the procharger does. Also, how about DTP? Just trying to see what my options are before I choose a shop. Have heard good things about both, but never delt with any of them.

You are so right it is a gamble but it could pay off big,
They have to pull through, stock market is up, housing has shown a slight increase and I hope GM doesn't go belly up cause I would be looking for another job, all we are selling right now are used, new sales have dropped off almost to nothing. But it isn't just GM that is having a rough time ,
the Toyota dealer across the street isn't having fun either.

Verdad Gallardo Anyone know of a place I can get some pipe made for my procharger? The inlet pipe that comes out of the procharger and has the filter was hacked to crap by the original owner which located the filter right above the drivers side header. Procharger wants $200 for a new one and I just cant see how just a pipe costs that much.
Talk to them already and they said that it would be best to just get the procharger pipe because they would be more expensive. I ended up getting Superior Automotive to build me a pipe. Got everything done for about $100. Does not have the smooth bend like the procharger pipe but it is good for me for right now. Better then running with no pipe and filter.

well. Stoping in to say what's up. Since I've been home from Iraq I haven't been in here much cause their seems to be a ton of new faces since the original Hampton roads thread way back when. Went to vmp a few weeks ago after the ss4000 install and a mild tune from ls1 sounds and best I could do was a 12.51@107. Pissed, car is full bolt on and 3.90s. Trans was the problem, 1-2 and 2-3 shift were beating the shift points bad. I actaually lost mph with stall. When it was just gears I went 109 all day. I ordered an flt lvl 4 instead of the tf heads I was gonna do. F13 from futral is on the way so I'll do the trans and be cam only for awhile. Oh, I was pissed about the track also cause I dropped from cutting high 1.8x 60fts to low 1.60s on every pass with the mickeys so I know the car has alot left in it. Anyway, that's my update. We still doin bass pro around here when it gets warm?-darren

Everyone buddy.... its sucks... new ownership and crap and something about that new resturant not liking people there... i was thinking what the hell... more people ate there on a sat night because of the cars LOL but what can we do...
We still have Jenro's on sat afternoon and if we all stay later it will be about the same and we can go eat togeather still.
Glad your back safe.... and good choice on the trans....
That converter should of been good for .5 tenths .... esp with good tires and that 60'

did anyone every go see what was going on at newtown in williamsburg after they booted us from bps? i had heard they were hanging there, charging 5 bucks to park and not letting the imports in?
