Beaver Springs Track Rental
I just wanted to get an idea for as to how many people would be interested in renting Beaver Springs race track for a couple hours. To the best of my knowledge its like $300-400 for I think 3hrs or so. Not 100% sure on that though, but I'm pretty sure it's close to that, and thats not per person as far as I know. That would just be crazy. I have no date yet , just looking to see if anyone would even be interested at all. Because if not, theres no point in renting the track out for 2 or 3 of us that I know will be going if we get something figured out. They just had some CJ Pony Parts meet there 2 weeks ago. It was the first time I ever been there and it looked like a decent laid back track. There was probably 50 cars there running and everyone got plenty of runs in, unlike Maple Grove where you're lucky if you get 3 runs in. The one guy that went with us got like 11 or 12 runs in and he could have gotten more in. I just thought since the mustang guys had a track day it would be cool to get some fbodys ,vettes and goats to get together and make some passes. Like I said previously this is just kinda of a feeler thread so me and my 2 other buddies can figure out if its worth setting up a date at all.

according to their website it looks like you can still rent the track. They need a $400 minimum so atleast 10people have to go. it looks like track can be rented after test and tune sessions which are 10am to 4pm. CJ Pony Parts rented the track from 5p - 8pm. Tech at that place doesn't look to hard to pass.

Any of you interested in running at Numidia? The Motorcityforums.com crew is getting a bunch of folks together May 31st. Typically the Saturday T~n~Ts have light car count ( 20-30 cars are often all there are ) so you'll get plenty of runs in without needing to pay track rental fees.
On the 31st we going to have lanes just for TNT and also set up some for people that want to test with dial-ins or grudge race. I hoping we get some people interested in doing a gambler race for maybe $20?
Some poeple have never raced, so we going to be going over how to stage, pick your dial-in, running the top end (As Kazman says ' there is another peddle you can use in bracket racing').

z28misfit, you should try to make it up. JBM I know you already said you'd be there. Make sure you guys stop by and talk, I'll probably only make a couple runs and then I'll just be hanging out a while.

So is the 31st going to be BSD or Numidia? BSD has very light TnT days as well, so I don't see the problem on not renting the track.
I'd prefer BSD since that's my old stompin' grounds, but I've heard a lot of good things about Numidia.
