I am heading up to N.E.D. tomorrow night for a final try at a new best before I install my new H/C/I set up. Anyone else heading up there.

 

I think most of us are planning on going on Saturday

 

I would go then but its my friends birthday friday night so they are going to the track. Who knows I may end up there saturday too.

I'll be at LVD at a rental tomorrow, but I'm curious as to what your new setup is and what you plan on running. I, too, am running a new setup on my H/C 2002 Z28, although it's a very mild setup. Everything "new" about it is in the gearing, but this is also the first time it's been tuned properly and shifting correctly that it'll be at the track, so it's pretty much a new setup to me.

 

I'll be up there on saturday, my car is missing axles at the moment, but i am bringing the girl friend. It'll be her first time to the track so i figure i can at least show her around and actually hang out with her rather then ignore her while i am racing haha. Hope to see you guys there.

 

The new set up is
-Livernois Stage 1 heads w/ patriot gold springs.
-Slowhawk is making me a custom cam. Dont know the specs yet.
-Fast 78 intake opened up to a 78/90 oval.
-TPIS TB 78/90 oval
-Slowhawk is going to do the tune also.
I am not sure if im going to run the Fast/TPI's set up or just run my stock LS6 intake with my ported stock T.B. I might sell it to help pay for the 9" rearend I want. Once the rearend and clutch are in I hope to run in the 11.50 range because I dont have a cage. We will see what happens.

I am not going to make it to the track friday because of work
I am going to try for saturday with the girlfriend. I just want to see Brads (noyzee) car make a pass. That car is awesome and I have yet to see it.

 

I'll look for you guys while i am up there, I'll probably be wearing my 860 Perf hat and talking with Vinny from 860 about his gto. See you guys there.

dont get your hopes up. im running the 9.5 class tommorow so i will be on motor
when i get knocked out however i will bump into test and tune and go for my 8 second 100 shot pass

I hear ya there noyzee. I borrowed your jack last year but havent even met you yet! I am the same way when i am racing, thats why i am bringing the gf tomorrow so i can actually explain things to her and introduce her to it with out running around like a moron.
