New Fats and Skinnies
Check out my new Fat and skinny:
Picked it up on June 27th. 2007 H-D Softail FXST, 96 CI (1584cc) motor, Six speed trans and a 200mm rear tire. 2150 miles on it... so barely broken in! Gotta love style, comfort and 40+mpg! I have soft saddle bags for it but obviously not pictured. Future plans include: a set of new pipes, power commander, drag bars, LED tail light, smoked lenses, new wheels and of course a few additional chrome parts but nothing to extravagant.
And yes I still have the GSXR that's in my sig.... for those special rides! LoL

Thanks Brad.. I have thought about a low sissy bar but my girlfriend likes the extra support. I have also thought of one for myself since I tend to lean back when I ride, I wouldn't mind the extra support myself especially on the highway. I don't know why I didn't buy a cruiser sooner, they're so much more comfortable.

It's funny... we both have Trucks, fast cars, motorcycles and we're both selling our quads....
I don't have a sled or boat, but I do have another quad and another motorcycle.. LoL

my father has a road king and you could ride it forever.
he also has a softail delux with the new b-motor in it with screamin eagle big bore, heads, cams, pipes etc and that is smooth as hell, but not like the road king. my softail is lowerd 2" solid mounted old school with shot gun pipes. its no fun. lol

The only Harley I like aside from the V-Rod is the Soft tail Night Train. I like how it's a cruiser but doesnt have alot of extra hardware on it. It looks a little raked from the front, I like the way the rear is smooth but not too short and everything seems a little more flush and streamlined, kind of more modern than the big Harleys. I bet the V-Rod would stink for driving someone round on anyhow, it's probably more comfortable than a GSX-R but not as nice as a Harley cruiser. I see people cruising around all the time with a passenger and both people look like they are sitting on a couch just hanging out.

I've been eyeing a bike for a while, but being big I generally don't feel comfortable on everything I've sat on so far... with the execpting of an OCC chopper I sat on at a bike show I went to a year ago. That thing fit just right.
But, the price tag is keeping me away, and I haven't found a used one in the style that I liked (the one with the split backbone)
Someday maybe

As much as I'd like to do it, I don't quite have that much to spend, not right now.
I want to buy one, but I don't want to take a loan out on it. Maybe in a year or so I'll have that much to play with (have about 1/2 right now)

or the first time some one dropped a $5,000 coil and distroid it and it comes from your pocket, or the first time your guy is in the attic and falls threw the ceiling and you have to replace the ceiling and repaint the hole room, or the first time you buy a $20,000 brand new work truck and the same guy crashes it 3 times in one week, or you get you $100,000 plus insurance bill
i also work 24 hours a day. there isnt a minit of any day that my company isnt running threw my mind.
no matter how much i explain it to someone, the only people that would ever understand that its not all fluff and money are people who own or have owned a succesfull busness
