The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
I do need one more pit guy to come with me, next year when I have a extended cab truck I'm gonna get another guy on the program so that way hoepfully one of us remember's what to do LOL
I can't thank the CHEF enough for all the help he has given me with this car, it's not his fault the bottle didn't get turned on and please chef don't be upset, the TV guys had me as screwed up and I wasn't even thinking of it, when I hit the purge I should have remembered what happened that day at LVD with the pressure not recovering on teh guage.
Hopefully I don't look like too much of a clown on TV with teh bottle being shut, I know that mustang had nothing for me, that race was gonna be just like the first round with the grand national a no contest, I knew it, I'm sure the mustang knew it too, and then he ended up losing anyway.
I'll be back again for the next one I can get signed up for, I didn't get to make any $ on the first one I went to, this one I left with some $, the next one I do and get picked, I'm taking it all home.
Someone on that TV show loves the car, they picked it last yeat @ MIR and I didn't even make my 2nd qualifying pass, this year they picked it again, and I really do believe had we not gotten out of sync I had the car to beat, there is no doubt in my mind.
Need to find some index/bracket that I can get into with it that pays, because this car is dead nuts consistant everywhere it goes, it's within a tenth or less right off the trailer.
I can't thank all my my friends enough for all the help they've given me with this car, Chef, BS machine, John, Bobby, Ken Q, Bruce, and most of all my wife.
Without all of your support, I'd have never gotten 1/2 as far with this car as I have.
I was wondering if that was your car. I wanted yourself and the mustang to be the final two from the beginning. I had a hard time picking who to root for.
From my mustang days, I remember Jim C. That mustang was Jimmy Larocca's mustang originally. I knew Jimmy Larocca really back then.
Mistakes happen. I am sure it must have been crazy getting ready for each run.
