My buddy(Rockets276) also has a 96 formula WS6, auto, hardtop, cloth interior 60k miles.
Here is a breakdown of the 1996 year formula WS6s
A total of 2,575 WS6 cars were made in 1996, out of a total of 30,937 Firebirds.
1996 Formula WS6 Production Breakdown-
Of the 2,575 total WS6's, 524 Formula WS6's were built in 1996.
6 speed cars:
-139 black
-105 red
-51 white
-37 green
-27 silver
A4 cars:
-52 black
-55 red
-24 white
-21 green
-13 silver
It would be awesome to fine out more breakdown between ttops and hardtop. I have heard(rumor) that the hardtops are more rare).
His SLP car number of the WS6s produced in 1996 is #2262. We figure its probably one of 20 or less
