Haha, close friend but ScreaminRedZ is actually my brother. There is some SERIOUS rivalry that goes on between all of us. 
And it's a flat natural pattern and the finish is called Swirled Ebony. It's pretty freakin sweet.
Thank you, sir! I've got quite a few guitars (before this the last purchase was a Les Paul Standard Plus) but when I saw and then played this one, it was a no brainer, especially for my band sound- and looks-wise. Plays nicer than it looks.

That's a pretty sharp looking guitar. I could never get used to the reverse headstock, though. Is it in red with the black edges? Those pickups are exactly what they say they are, designed by EMG specifically for this model (and possibly a few other models) Ibanez, but made only for Ibanez. Definitely get some pics!
Haha, my 120 watt all-tube 6505+ head is louder than anything I'll need anytime soon.

Yeah its the red one with black edges. The reverse headstock is alittle different but you get use to it pretty fast. I've only had the guitar for a week. I've been waiting for a few years to finally buy a new guitar. I just wish I was alot better at playing it. Once I get my hands on a camera I'll post pics.

Yeah I'm glad they made it that way, it kinda makes the whole look of the guitar come together. I just wish it had the neck-thru design,but it still works so no big deal.

Awesome it has been a while since I have ever heard anyone mention Ibanez..
I used to have an Ibanez 540 PII which was basically just an upside down RG 750 guitar that Alex Skolnick played in the 90's..
I ended up selling it after I bought Two ESP's from their custom shop in L.A. before they moved everything back to Japan..
I still miss that guitar and check Ebay almost weekly for one to show up but I havent seen one in a few years..
Other than the two ESP M2 Custom deluxes I also have a vintage 1956 Turquoise U2 Danelectro not the crappy reissue's either
but I don't even let people touch that, I don't play it either..

That would be fun,,, although I'm not very good at playing with other players. I've always played by myself with no one around so its hard for me to play along or even play half of what everyone knows how to play.
