I want to install 3:73's

It depends how much you want the freshen up the rest of the rear end.
You only NEED a new ring and pinion gear, crush sleeve, pinion nut, and shims. And fluid of course.
I would get an install kit along with the gears, which includes new bearings and races along with everything listed above.

Yeah same here. Mine is getting done as we speak. I went the extra and bought a full install kit with all new stuff. Axle bearings and seals, pinion bearing, carrier bearings, shims, and a solid pinoin spacer. Pretty much everything new.

definetly buy everything new, buying used rear end parts is asking for trouble later. make sure its installed by a reputable shop, just a little off and it will whine/ or worse, cut up your new gears.
