cheap efficient solution:
buy a clean 5 speed e36 m3 (95-98 body) for about $7-9000
buy a turbo kit for about $1000
haul *** and enjoy comfort and economy. I still plan to build one like that someday. I love american cars, but those cars are so smooth and look so nice. plus one of those cars on 8 psi making 400 at the wheels are FUN

I've already got a 400hp car. I honestly miss my old turbo Sentra SE-R. Handled like it was on rails! Looking to get something like that again.

and im going to the BR7EF's I hope this weekend, I am also changing to the M/T ET street DR 295-55-15's out back and I need new front tiers now because the other week I ran something over and it put about a 1/2" hole in one. I will be back out there soon and hope it will be running even better!!!!!!!!!!!!I forgot to mention I am debating on getting a MSD 2-step launch controller also.

Wow, a Polk County thread on tech...LOL. Checking in from Lakeland, originally from WH.
In the same boat as Mike 02T/A, haven't run the 10 yet but everything is there to do it with traps @ 121-122 on my last couple outings to BMP. I ran the TR6s for years and last year I switched to the BR7EFs. It's just better to run the non-projected plug if you're spraying over 200. I need to work on my tune a little more as it's on the rich side right now. Also have a 3.89 gear in the 9 right now but I'm wondering if a 4.11 or 4.30 might work out better. I'm already on a 28in tire.
Hopefully I can join in on the BMP trip when it happens.

picking my hood up from the paint shop in the morning. added a little something to it while i was at it (well my painter did). btw just throwing it out there that there is a car show at the northside hooters on monday. I will be out there with my car, would be nice to have some other f-bodies out there too

doing good man. drove it for the first time in over a week yesterday. been having the work van to drive, so i took the t/a down for some paint work. got it all back yesterday. no more peeling clearcoat!
my buddy Doug Robbins did the base and clear and Mike Grimes did the airbrush work. you want just straight repaint or you want any graphics? Mike is capable of anything. let me know what you want and I can run it by them to get you a price. I traded out some welding work with them for mine, plus having known both for about 6 years helps lol
