Thanks guys for the help! I've been researching a lot on LS swaps into different chassis and there's a lot of money to be made! Some of u guys that have done swaps before and are very experienced should look into it. I'm a car dealer by trade and can get cars very cheap. For example u buy a 93 rx7 rolling chassis for 3k, 5.3 and 4l60e for $800, Hinson swap kit $1200, $1000 in odds and ends=$6k, u could turn around and sell it easy for $11k! Easy $5k profit. I've seen them sell locally for around $20k with t56! Once u buy one install kit u could fabricate ur own and make even more! I'm going to be looking to do a swap very soon and might be looking to turn it into a business with the help of a good LS mechanic. Haven't decided on a rx8, rx7, or xk8 jag for the donor car. I already have a rx8 and can get the other really cheap at auction.

yeah that's def. a scam. hell I was skeptical about mine for $5500. Mike, I have a pair of centerlines that are 15x9, but the offset is probably way off for an f-body. they were on my s-10. and Dave, you ordered me one too, right?

I called it wasnt a scam I seen it About 45min after it was posted and it was already sold. I buy and sell cars everyday and see ls1 cars on craigslist weekly for 2500-3500 they just don't last long. I can buy ls1 camaros/transams all day at auction for $2500-3000 for autos, 3500-4000 for nice 6sp. If anybody is ever looking for a higher end car like a gto,vette,g8, etc I can get a really good deal on one for them. Or if u just want to go to dealer auction just to see what stuff goes for I charge $100 to take people. Obviously the auction doesn't finance so u have to have cash to buy but I can guarantee u a huge savings. U wouldn't imagine the mark ups on used cars at dealers. I see G8s sell for $13-15k and the dealer puts them on there lot for $22-24k!

i'm about to be swappng a 5.3 into my 68 c10. I actually just picked up a book this past weekend at a swap meet about ls swaps. very informative, give wiring diagrams and ecu pinouts, shows what sensors to use to work with older gauges and how to tie the ecu wiring into an older harness, as well as fabbing mounts and such. if you have a hookup on motors LMK I am in the market for a 5.3. already have a trans, just need an engine, ecu and harness

Just sold a gold o4 yesterday 80k 4cyl 5sp for $7700 clean book was over 12k and it took me 2months to sell it! I paid $7900 for it at auction! Never ever buy a 4cyl wrangler u will lose ur butt on it! Jeeps, toyotas, hondas, are the 3 most expensive cars at auction bc there's a huge market and they hold there value better than any other cars. American cars chevy, dodge, ford, can be had at great prices bc they don't hold there value compared to imports.
