Just trying to get it where it will get out of it's own way! 
It will be a larger........Lid, MAF, TB, Intake, Heads, Cam, Headers, Ypipe into a magnaflow catback, all bolted to a LQ9 block. I'm hoping that it will be a few more horses than a stock LS1. We'll see what happens!

Damn Bad Hombre? Where do I sign up. I'm gonna start looking for an Lq9 with under 100k on the clock for a build. Do any off you guys know if My Ported LS6 Heads would do wonders for that motor or should I think with the LS1?
AllPro Autoparts in Auburndale. they have about 10 in stock. different mileage and years and such. they have 3 or 4 low mileage 02 motors for $550 each, the 99's like I have are $450. they are on ebay. I actually bought my motor from them on ebay then picked it up cash in person. when I got there they had it on a pallet sitting outside ready for me. handed them cash, handed me a receipt and they forklifted it into the back of the truck and I was on my way. couldn't have asked for a smoother experience. they have lq9's also, I think they start at around $800

Dude, hook me up ahahah I'm going to Harbor freight out that way today to see what I can find. I'm gonna be painting my bird so, I need a compressor set up. We'll see what I find at the yard.

and as for AllPro they don't have the motors out in the yard. when you got to the counter, tell them what you are looking for and they will direct you over to their commercial sales side where all the really cool stuff is
