do you own the trans am outright? I mean... if you do, then just build the engine, and beat the **** out of stock z06's... if you owe money and can get out of it for what you owe or more then definately get the z06.

youll prolly find a pretty good deal on a vette these days.
that is a tough choice tho.
Z06's are sweet. i guess if i were in your shoes i would sell the f-body outright instead of trading in. dealerships will screw you on trade ins.
BUT then again it would be kinda cool owning a f-body that eats Z06's for lunch

If you like Vettes more, then that's what you should drive.
If you like F-body's more, then that's what you should drive...
Doesn't matter which is faster to me.
I'd never give up my Trans Ams because I love them.
... No matter how many Vettes beat me.

Ive had them all and I would get the C-5 Z06, FRC, or C-6 Z06 only. If you want to just do bolt ons get the vette but if you plan on drag racing the vette your wallet will thank you for the F-body.

This is damn well said... +1
I had the choice between a 97-98 C5 or an 02 SS. The only reason I went with the Camaro is because I couldnt afford a C5 of those years with low enough miles paying cash (I could do it if I were to finance it, but in these times, I refuse to make payments for the next 4-5yrs).
I am happy with my Camaro though. For my purposes it's great.
I will get a C5 in a few years assuming that the wife allows

When I bought my Z, I actually was going to buy a Vette. Wife convinced me that the Camaro was better due to the back seat, and that way my kid, wife and I could all fit. Wife has been in the car twice, kid maybe 5 times. Do I regret the decision, a little, but--------If I had the choice again, I would buy the Vette.
