Bought a DD
Bought a DD That's right. Since I'll be driving from Ocala to Orlando often for law school I went on the search for the elusive, running, with a/c DD for under $1000. What did I come up with you ask? None other than a 1988 Honda Accord LXi hatchback!!! 156,000 miles, working a/c, radio, clear coat faded paint, 15" wheels, A20A3 engine, and 5 speed. The 120hp of fury doesn't quite throw you in the back of the seat, but it does indeed move the car from a stop. How much did I pay do you ask? $500, well below the $1000 limit I put myself on. What does it look like? Here ya go
Craigslist. In Apopka no less. You just gotta be on the ball. Went with a friend to check out one car, but took a laptop with us. Used my buddies cell phone for wireless internet access and viola, we just kept looking until something popped up that day. It was up for about 2 hours when we emailed the guy. He called us back about another hour or so after.

Oh Yeah Craisglist has a handfull of cars for under 500... My friend got his 97 T-bird... Girl thought it was broke because the brakes didnt work power steering was whining and it idled rough... Went to look at it... i saw that the Vacume Dist. Block was busted told the girl ok i guess we'll take it... Drove to autozone spent 1.00 on a piece of hose and all was well.. A/C and everything!..There are some deals out there.. esp. when the person is lazy.. It may just run funny so they stop driving it and sell it cheap!... Ohh and that Accord is Tight!! now your can Drift! lol.... Good Find! I couldnt Bring myself to DD a 4 cylinder..so i bought the T/A to DD
