Central FL, LASIK Surgery. Who has, or knows someone who has had Lasik Surgery? What was their experience.
Anyone do any research, on some doctors, get quotes, etc?
What were costs looking at, and what and where are some doctor's locations? (I am in Daytona willing to travel to Orlando)
I have heard of Filotowski institute, did some research, I hear they pressure you like a used car salesman, Doctor is pretty impersonal and you don't meet him until he is zapping your eyes. They are also said to be a bit pricier then others and I believe I read something about an ongoing lawsuit of a large amount of people sueing them.
but obviously we have all heard the Clear Channel stations....

That would be me. PM me. I want to know a couple of things. What is your current contact prescription, how bad are you doing with contacts, what are you willing to spend, and how picky are you?
I used to work with a Lasik specialist (and you want my opinion, trust me), and depending on your eyes, I have some suggestions on who to see or what to do instead.
P.S. I could have had Lasik for FREE, but never did.....but if my prescription...... I do something completely different, love it, do not wear contacts during the day, and pass a First Class FAA Flight exam uncorrected...
