Default In Florida From Michigan

Hey guys Its Champ With Car Freaks. I came down to Florida from Michigan. I couldn't stand the cold and snow. Also the lack of cool cars. Everything fun other then AWD cars are put up in Michigan. I'm here for one week and would like to see some fun cars in action. I'll be here until Tuesday 26th. Then only thing car related I'm doing is the "Old town cruise" Any racing going on? It would be fun to see what the street scene is like in the Orlando Kissemmee St Cloud area... vs Michigan. Feel free to "PM" me if you don't want to post it on then net...
Respectfully Champ

Welcome! I grew up in a suburb of Detroit, Waterford. I moved to Florida to get away from the snow & cold. Enjoy your time here.

I'd go back to MI if jobs were available.

But welcome! There are a lot more cool cars here, that's for sure!

Michigan is a hot bed of muscle cars. You must not have gone out much. Explain to me again what is a cool car to you.

Lol WTF ever. Florida has more money, so don't try to explain to me there are more cool cars up there than here.

Did I say anything about muscle cars? Nope. What I said are "cool" cars; cars that any enthusiast would enjoy. There are more here combined than MI. I lived in MI for 23 years, been in FL 8 months.

Same concept applies when going out west; more money=more cool cars. Its economics, plain and simple.

Ok let me go over this right now. for Doc. I'm a huge part of the Michigan car scene. But right now there is Snow on the ground. Its white slippery cold stuff that make cool rear wheel drive cars spin out with high horsepower. Also we put salt on the roads in the winter. That will rust out a nice cherry cars fast. People with nice cars put them up for the winter unless they are AWD. WE have a ton of muscle cars very few exotics and actually not many fast imports at all. I guess I follow suit with my 2 Camaro's. lol.

BTW I seen a nice Camaro last night it was silver 4TH GEN the LIC plate read "WAN2RUN" Any one know him? I seen him at a light on 192 last night the cars sounded great looked very nice and he seemed cool. I wouldn't mind hanging out with him tonight. and you to Kevin. Are you taking the Vette out?

First of all, you cant tell me about Winter up North because I lived in the Akron Ohio area for 52 years, then in SE Michigan for 6 years (while I worked at Ford). And as you said, I stored my muscle cars in the Winter and drove other stuff. My '87 Camaro IROCZ has never seen salt, or my '99 Camaro SS. So you are just referring to the fact that it is Winter in Michigan and the neat cars are stored for the most part. Yep, that's the way it works up there. After 4 to 5 months of cabin fever, I'm about ready to scream.

You guys talked about "cool" cars above, I had asked what is a cool car to you.

EDIT: In a lttile bit, I am going over to a car show in Oviedo, Fl. Its at 1700 Oviedo Marketplace Blvd., Oviedo, Fl., then have an early dinner somewhere around there. Is anyone interested in meeting up in Oviedo mid-afternoon?

And I consider muscle cars (old and new) "cooler" cars than Lambos and Ferraris driven by douchebags down here.
