Default Your first car...

Any one remember their first car or the car that started it all; turning you from a simple Motor Vehicle Operator into a drag-aholic gear head?

This was my first car.

1987 IROC-z

305 tpi, a4, g92

lots of small DIY mods: ramair, ported maf, gutted cat, bumped timing, fan switch

catback, airfoil, k&n, 160 stat

was a great streetlight warrior...and the 115 speed limiter kept me out of a little trouble.

Actually this is my second car. (Also a '67 442 Olds) My first was a white convertible with Black interior & a Turbo 400, but I couldn't find a pic).
The one in the pic had 4.33 gears, headers/cam/holley. Quick for an Olds, but ran out of breath at 5500 R's. Barely making the 1/4 mile with street tires of the day....

Mine was a 1981 Toyota Celica Supra. Loved that car, damn it was ugly. I thought it was fast and it kinda was. Had an inline 6 in it fun to drive. Transmission went out on my mom I had to buy one and put it in. Someone burned it to the ground in my yard while I was out of town, had no insurance on it cause it needed work at the time, police said looked like they tried to siphon gas out if it and whatever happend, happend. I miss that ugly car. This is not mine but close to it.

1983 Monte Carlo. Light blue, 2-door, all-stock carburated V6. Everyone in my high school thought it was soooo awesome. I tinkered with it some but wanted a V8. Got my wish a couple years later when I bought a 77 C-10 pickup w/ a built 350. Damn, that truck was fun! So really, it was my 2nd vehicle that started it all for me...

My first car was a 1921 Ford Model A. I put true duals on it with glasspacks and it sounded mean.

not many will even know wtf my 1st car is, it was a 1980 oldsmobile starfire. 110hp 3.8 v6. but i was 16 and had a car, although hideous, it was deemed cool. we even gave it a nickname, "the clank mobile" because it sounded like it was going to fall apart any second. i loved it because it was rwd, and i could spin the hell out of the bald bicycle tires i had on it (all i could afford)
