The SS is living!!!

Well about a month ago I posted a thread stating that my motor might be junk. It was making a ticking/screeching noise that Ive never heard before. Well since most everyone seemed to think that it was a loose rocker or a bad lifter I started taking the motor apart. Well long story short I found nothing wrong with the internals and it turns out my problem was a bad header gasket. So I put it all back together and go it running yesterday. Here is a first start up vid with just open headers and a pic of the new under hood dress up.

Congrats on the start up. Did you disassemble the motor or did you notice the header gasket first? Nice job on the engine bay as well.

Just like i told him it was (header gasket).Glad too see i was right and it was that simple rather than costing u a lot of money now lets go to the track.
