exhaust too loud?
hey everybody im driving my camaro to florida on my honeymoon in a few weeks and i was just wondering if im going to get pulled over for my exhaust? i have short tube headers, slp y pipe and magnaflow race cats that go into a 2.75 inch dump under the car,its not earsplitting loud but it does rumble a bit taking off from the traffic light. i will be in the orlando and daytona beach areas, just wondering if theres anything i should know before i go.
OH! by the way how r the laws regaurding nitrous cause my car does have a bottle mounted in between the rear seats. any input is much appreciated, thanks.

just keep your right foot on the big pedal on the right gently and you shouldnt have to worry !!!! did a quick search on this website called google pretty neat site you should check it out well appears in FL your car needs to have a muffler and has to be within a certain dB sound level when traveling below 35mph and above 35mph x amount of distance behind vehicle

As long as you don't drive like an ***-clown, you won't get pulled over for noise. I drive the race car around on the streets occasionally and it's obnoxiously loud. I've never been pulled over for noise or any other BS. Just don't act like an idiot and the cops will leave you alone.

Trust me, you'll be fine. We have better stuff to worry about then exhaust systems. Chances are if your headed to O-town or Daytona you'll drive through where I work. As far as the nitrous bottle deal. Just be careful, I don't know how your setup is but we're having 95+ days here right now.

You can get a ticket but usually only if you're pulled over for something else. Not sure how the law treats nitrous. I dont think you'll have a problem since you can have O2 tanks. Its only deemed hazardous if in not a proper container or in uses. Those sound tickets are very easy to get out of, since cops don't have decible readers.

I drove my car around all the time and it was loud as hell, no issues. Just drive normal and you should be fine. I had longtubes with bullets welded directly on each header dumped. Never had any issues with my nitrous bottle between the seats either, just always left the line unhooked on the street.
