Like the title says, we are trying to figure a lower cost option for full length headers on our LSx s10. I have already secured a pair of C5 headers, but I think the 4th gen fbody headers will be the closest to fitting. We are just wanting to test them, to see if there would be a small amount of frame clearancing needed, or if a tube or 2 would need to be moved.

NO MODS will be made to the headers, we are simply looking at our options right now. I would need them for like 2 weeks, I will pick up and drop off.

Thanks!

1st gen s10, 5.3/4l60e swap. using trans dapt LS1 to SB1 adapter plates with clam shells. Maintaining fuel injection, truck intake, cable throttle.

I have already done a 1998 2 door Jimmy LQ4/4L60E swap (F.I vic jr w/ elbow, full electrical swap), but we used 2.8 mounts and LSx to 2.8 adapters with modified f-body manifolds. I hate 2.8 mounts so i wont go that route again.

No need to buy anything if someone has a set lying around that they can spare for 2 weeks. I already have a set of C5 longtubes on loan to check out, but I think f-body would be closer.

You might want to look into TBSS headers, they will get you pretty close. Corvette headers angle toward each other at the collector, and you will most likely run into issues with those.

I just looked at the TBSS headers, they look very similar to LS s10 longtubes, but they cost just as much as well. Thanks for pointing them out though
