Arrow Build Thread For Jason lol....
Alright im bored and decided to make a build thread for ***** and giggles.....

Just keep in mind this is going to be a SLOWWWW build im shooting for this turd to be running again by dec. or possibly Jan. 2011.....

You guys already know what it ran and what the last setup was.....

Ok new setup consists of:

JY 5.3 truck motor
Stock bottom
317 heads
Crane dual springs (650 lift)
MLS gaskets
Stock 02+ LS6 cam
Vic. Jr. topend
ARP rod bolts
ARP headstuds
Spohn solid motor mounts
Meth
Etc.

Turbo setup consists of:

DIY truck manifold setup
2.5 inch mild steel crossover
3inch dp
38mm wastegate
MPT76
RZ motorsports intercooler


Heres some pics to hold you guys over until i get more stuff ordered....




Not sure if im going to change the intercooler location or not....




Some half *** mock up lol.....







Once again thanks to Orlando for letting me use his turbo for mock up/tease....








And that would be about it for now im hoping to have a motor in the next 2 weeks and im hoping to have my old motor out this weekend......

If you dont mind me asking why are you going with a 5.3 instead of a 6.0 both are iron blocks correct?

Yes there both iron blocks but the 5.3's make the same amount of power (if not more) and cost about half and when i only make about $250 weekly it's a no brainer lol....

Looks like Turbo is the way to go.There are a few guys @ PBIR that are running high 7's to mid 8's w/ there Turbo cars.

And i also just ordered my victor jr. setup along with a low profile elbow from a member on here and will post pics when they arrive....

dude i'm taking off my low profile and using an Aaron's elbow. i didnt want to cut my cowl but that elbow is such a bottleneck that i'll be happy to!

Very nice. I thought you had a aftermarket rails on the LS6 intake or will they not fit?

If they wont work what you want for them

I just sold them yesterday to another member on here.......

I had heard that i can make them work (rails) but the Edelbrock rails are black and mine were polished so i just went with the Edelbrock ones.....
