Default Shifting
I was wondering while racing when do y'all shift I was told by a friend Im holding way to long and told me to shift at 6k? I don't shift till I hit 68 6900 rpm and finish at 7k?

6500 would be were u should be shifting @ anything above that u fall out of your HP range.

Dyno graph more than anything but also how the motor feels. with that set up I dont see mid to low upper 6ks being out of the question at all. most stock set up LS1 cars make peak HP just before redline or within a few hundered RPMS.

does the car feel like its still pulling hard at 6,900ish RPMS? d0 you have anything done to the bottom end (rod bolts etc)?

U should be shifting @ 500 rpm's over your peak HP.Have u ever had the car dynoed because that would help tell u were the peak HP range is.

Long time ago I'm about to put underdrive pulley then dyno it so I guess that's when I'll find out thnx

6 grand seems to early 7 seems a bit to high id go 6700
