I really wasn't expecting to gain that much from the switch, I was hoping to move the powerband up and gain 50hp, so 75 and adding 600 rpm was much more than I expected!
I'm thinking about hitting pbir for hp runs wed. I think I'll have the power to get to 9.90 now, but I think its gonna take a bit of track time to get it there. I changed the powerband quite a bit. Peak power used to be @ 5900 rpm, but now its at 6400, and since I dont have good rods and pistons I'm not sure how high I want to shift it.

Street manners were first and foremost of the importance besides making the additional power, I didn't want to sacrifice anything. I kept this mind when choosing the cam, and other mods. Now that its done the car drives exactly like it used to before the cam, intake and exhaust, except when you mash the throttle! It doesn't buck, surge or any of that. I have to give alot of credit to Dan @ Masport for that. The cam doesn't have a tremendous amount of overlap, but the tune did need help to get it that way. The converter is a Yank SS3600, and after switching from a competitors 2800, I found that the driveability of this one is better!
. Definitely looking forward to the cold weather. I'm still working the bugs out, this combo has changed the powerband quite a bit so I still have yet to spray it, but I'm getting closer. I need some serious track time.
