Default new stance (pics)

Just finished getting the alignment done. I can't believe how well it rides. I let Josh (F-body owner) at the local shop drive it. His reply wow it drives like an M3 not a lowered F-body. Mind you, when he drove it, I actually didn't have enough preload and the car was 1" lower than in the pictured. The front wheel was up into the fender. I had 5.5" from the front A-arm frame bolt.

This is what it looks like with 6.5" at the front bolt and 7" at the rear measured from the frame bolt for the LCA.

I picked up like 1.5" more travel than stock even with it lower. The ride is great, smoother than with my Strano Bilstiens which were great.

Its good, it increases your alignment range, but doesn't offer as much oil pan protection.
Looks cool though!

Do you have CO's all the way around? I am thinking of going with the KW coilovers on all 4 points when I get there.

KW aren't coilovers in the back they are adjustable spring perches. That what I have Koni DA and 5x11 hyperco springs in the back.

Well yeah, that is what I meant

I had a set on my 3000GT VE4 and LOVED THEM! I've read great things about the Eibach Multi-Pro R2 Coilovers, but I don't think they will be coming out with them for the 4th Gen

So what did this setup run, I like the stance and from what you and your Tech say about them, sounds like another option for me

Yeah ,they were not cheap, but you gain travel and they still give a great ride with the lower stance. I had it 1" lower than in the pictures and the ride was still normal. That sold me.
I looked at the KW very seriously but this is why I went this route.
1. KW are not hand spec'd by an F-body "road" racer and then custom spec'd for my car my setup and application like these were.
2. KW mount in the top mount, the Penske's mount in a race style top mount that allows them more travel up which is where you need it if your lowered.
3. Penske are a true rebuildable race shock (that are a cool gold/black)

Price about the same as KW.

Front Shocks with custom valving, hyperco springs and Torrington bearing seats where $1200
Outwear shock panties $40.00
Rear Shocks Koni DA $612.00 a set
Rear perches and springs $140 a set.
total $1952.00

Jason @ UE sells great stuff. I've got his TA, control arms and lowering PHB setup. I could never swallow the price for the Penske's, though. Your Penske's are double adjustable? If yes, where are the adjustment controls and how do you adjust them?

yeah their DA , allen wrench on the bottom, sweep adjustment at the top 40 compression levels, 20 rebound sweeps.
If car wasso low I could adjust both without lifting the front. Just lifting the front 6" is enough to fit my arm in.
