and im not saying names, but they blew up someones engine after doing 8 dyno pulls, one after another. another one was something to do with a transmission or driveshaft but i dont remember the whole story and ive heard there are good days and bad days there. ive never dealt with them so i dont know but the install prices are alittle outrageous if you ask me
And 8 pulls after another is nothing if everything is properly monitored, which i know they do.

I think Doc and the guys are great. I've never had a bad experince with them. I would recommend them for anyones car. Prices are what they are. You get what you pay for. And I really could have done so much more with my car if I had taken it to Doc. and had the tranny done right the first time.

well my cousin builds race car transmissions and motors and i was goin to take it to EFI next week but he comes back into town from the keys next week and said for $1000 he can help me rebuild an upgraded transmission and pay for a tow truck to his place so i think i might do that

I spent $2200 on an autotragic before. So that doesn't seem too high to me. Go to the shop. Talk with the guys there. If they can see the car and talk with you in person, things may turn out different price wise. If not. Mark @ EFI Alchemy has a really good reputation on fixing transmissions. You get what you pay for.
