Been travelling to Florida in my Z since 2001. Always try to stop in at Old Town for the shops. In December of 07,met up with a couple Camaros,one was an aquaintance from past times on Ohio, in Kissimmee and we went to/in the cruise-in. I followed the other two in,they were let in but I was stopped from entering(rules stipulate I needed 6 visible mods to enter)the other 2 Camaros had no visible mods. Parked outside and went in to talk to organizer,eventually he let me in. I hope things have changed.
I still go to Old Town. I should be pissed off but I'm not.

I haven't been out Because of Finances. No money, I am always broke because the girl friend lost her job and I am stuck with all the bills atm. Plus today, I think my Torque Converter is going out on me. Which translates to a bigger stall and a new Posi rear end when money permits it. Believe me, Covert should think about going to the old town thing once a month or once every 2 months or so. like the 2nd friday of every month or something.

Old Town has a special place in my heart. I took many of my girlfriends there when I was younger and had my 67 camaro, it worked great because they always felt special sitting in a nice 67 camaro with 2 750's sticking a foot out of the hood and they thought all the people stopping and looking meant they were getting all the attention!! LOL. And my first date with my wife of 13 years was at Old Town and that has now resulted in two beautiful girls that I still take to Old Town on a regular basis.

Anyway I would be glad to go up there on a Friday night and stay the weekend. I am sure my kids would love to see our car in the show (do they have the cruse on Friday night's also) and hay my 17yo may even think she is getting all the attention and still want to hang out with me (bonus).

2 camaros, I know exatly what you mean. I never had old iron so I hated being out, brought a few past GFs there too. I think the last time I was there was when I dated my wife, 13yrs ago. So I'm looking forward to bringing my TA there.

I'll be leaving about 5:45 and will take me about 1/2 hr or so to get there.

Yeah I saw both you guys cars but didn't get a chance to meet. I got caught up with the family. Worst is just as I said I had stangs on both sides.

Phantom that NBM paint was real nice. Is it a re paint?

I'd never done the cruise thing through the shop area, a lot of people. I assume with cooler weather it would be PACKED!

We going to go again not sure when.

Thanks!, but that is not NBM. It is Sonic Blue, I shot it about 2 months ago after my car was keyed. It used to be red and black, here's a before pic:

Thanks! Surprised you didn't hear it run. Should've seen how people jumped out of the way with one rev. It was fun.

I did get a crowd when I parked after the cruise. I got some idiots said "thats not stock" I'm like no ****. Some others said "you got open headers on it" , oh man I'm like you can't hear the air volume?

If I recall there was like a 70 Nova there sounded like a big block with dumps. Mine sounded similar to that but on a tighter firing order.

If you guys plan another night PLEASE post it I would love to go. I have the electronic cutouts on mine as well and it sounds nasty with them open! Just dont know if I would drive it with the Z06 wheels or the front runners and change the rears to match there.
